Topy's Cuisine — Restaurant website with table booking and a bilingual menu
Bengali restaurant in Vendelsö
Topy's Cuisine is a Bengali restaurant in Vendelsö, south of Stockholm. We built its restaurant website with table booking and the full menu in Swedish and English. The staff run tables, closures and bookings from an admin panel.
The problem
A restaurant site that booked tables somewhere else.
The restaurant was getting ready to open and had nowhere online to show its food. It needed the whole menu on the web and bookings it handled itself, without a portal in between. Guests also had to be stopped from booking before the doors opened.
A borrowed booking widget
The starting template sent Reserve a table to another restaurant's booking page. The restaurant needed bookings of its own.
A menu search engines missed
The menu page sent almost empty HTML, so a search engine saw a heading and very little food.
Tables without rules
Bookings had no real tables behind them, and nothing stopped two parties from getting the same seat.
Bookings before opening
The form accepted bookings for tables that could not be served yet, because the kitchen was still being built.
What we built
A restaurant website with table booking that the restaurant owns.
We started from our own restaurant platform and gave it a new design, Roots of Bengal, in black and gold. Menu, tables, closures and bookings are run from an admin panel, and texts are translated between Swedish and English when the staff save them.
Own booking with free times
Guests only see times that are free, get a booking number by email and can look up or cancel it under My booking.
A floor plan that guards tables
Inside and outside tables with real seats, parties across several tables, set seating times and a 15-minute turnaround.
The whole menu in the HTML
176 dishes and drinks, lunch by weekday, heat level and allergy notes, all in the page that search engines read.
An opening switch in the admin
One toggle closes booking and shows an opening soon notice. The server refuses bookings until it is turned back on.
Timeline
Two weeks to launch, booking ready for opening day.
We started from our own restaurant platform, so the first days went to clearing out the old template and building the new design. The real menu, the booking engine and the floor plan followed, day by day.
Days 3–4
Real menu and own booking
176 dishes and drinks, the restaurant's own photos and logo, and a booking form that replaced the borrowed widget.
Days 5–6
Opening switch and floor plan
Pre-opening mode, inside and outside tables, parties across several tables, free times and closed days.
Days 7–13
Hours, server move, finish
The real serving hours, a move to the new server and the last fixes before handover.
The result
One switch away from the first booking.
Topyscuisine.se has been live since 1 October 2026. Booking stays closed until opening day, and then it opens with one switch, with confirmation emails and calendar invites ready to go.
