A new name and a new look
First, our restaurant platform became Indian Masala. It got a new logo and hero video, a restyled header and menu categories, and a shorter booking form.

We built an Indian restaurant website for Indian Masala in Gothenburg. It has the full menu in Swedish and English, and it shows the day's lunch automatically. Guests book a table through the restaurant's own form, and we moved the site to new hosting without downtime.
Indian Masala had a strong kitchen and a rich printed menu, but the old website showed only part of it. Guests could not see the day's lunch. Bookings also went through a third-party platform, and the site sat on hosting the restaurant did not control.
The printed menu had 16 pages, but the website showed a fraction, and only in one language.
The weekday lunch changed daily. Yet the site could not show it, so guests called to ask.
Reservations went through a third-party platform, so the restaurant did not own its guest list.
The site had to move to new hosting while the old site and the restaurant's email kept working.
We rebuilt it on our restaurant platform as an Indian restaurant website with its own name, logo and hero video. All 16 pages of the printed menu went online in two languages. Now the weekday lunch switches by itself, and bookings arrive straight at the restaurant through its own form.
All 187 dishes and drinks, from starters to wines, in Swedish and English. The staff edit every dish themselves.
Each weekday the site shows that day's lunch on its own, so nobody updates the page by hand.
A shorter booking form on the site, plus My Booking for guests, so reservations land with the restaurant itself.
A new logo and hero video, every page redesigned, and a tested move to new hosting before the domain switched.
We built on our existing restaurant platform. So the time went into the Indian Masala brand, the full menu, and a careful move to new hosting.
First, our restaurant platform became Indian Masala. It got a new logo and hero video, a restyled header and menu categories, and a shorter booking form.
Each page started as a mockup. Then we rebuilt them one by one: menu, drinks, about, contact, gallery, reservations and My Booking.
All 16 pages of the printed menu went into the system, in Swedish and English. That covers starters to wines and spirits, and the staff can edit all of it.
Next, we moved the site to a new server and tested everything there. Only then did we switch the domain, so the old site and the email stayed up the whole time.
187 dishes and drinks in Swedish and English, all editable from the admin panel. Each weekday the site shows that day's lunch automatically. Table bookings come straight to the restaurant through its own form, not a third-party platform. Live at indianmasala.se in four weeks, and the old site and email stayed up throughout the move.
