Hishabghor — Personal finance and expense tracking for home and shop, in Bengali

Hishabghor is a personal finance and expense tracking platform written in Bengali. Income, expenses, budgets, savings and money lent or borrowed sit in one workspace. A shop also gets its own workspace with billing, stock and staff salaries, and personal accounts are free.
The month lived in heads and on paper.
Most finance apps speak English and assume a bank card. In Bangladesh, a household keeps cash, bKash and a notebook of who owes whom. Meanwhile, the corner shop keeps its hal khata by hand. So the numbers lived in heads and on paper, and nobody saw the month as a whole.
Where did the money go?
Without categories and a monthly view, spending is a feeling, not a number.
Who owes whom
Money lent to a cousin and credit given to a customer both lived in a notebook that nobody could find.
The shop and the home mixed
Shop sales and household expenses ended up in the same pocket, so neither added up.
Not in Bengali
The apps that existed spoke English and needed a bank card, so most people never started.
Personal finance and expense tracking in your own language.
We built personal finance and expense tracking in Bengali, with separate workspaces for the household and the shop. Every account, from cash to bKash, has its own balance, and every expense has a category. The lend and borrow ledger shows who owes what, and the app keeps working when the internet drops.
Every taka in a category
It works as an expense tracker by category, with cash, bank and bKash as separate accounts and transfers between them.
Lend and borrow ledger
A page for each person: what you lent, what you borrowed, and a statement when it is time to settle.
Separate workspaces
One account holds a workspace for the household and another for the shop, with billing, stock and staff salaries. Nothing mixes.
Works without internet
The app keeps entries when the connection drops and syncs them later. It also installs on the phone's home screen.
Home and shop, one app, in Bengali.
Hishabghor is live at hishabghor.com in Bengali, English and four more languages, and it installs on a phone like an app. Personal accounts are free. Shops get a seven-day trial with POS billing, cash memos, invoices, stock and staff salaries, and a full backup stays in the user's own hands.
