Structure and two languages
Next.js with Swedish and English from the start, the home page sections, header, footer and the blog.

A bilingual accounting firm website should help every visitor find the right service and book a meeting about it, in Swedish or English. That is what we built for Akhand Ekonomi, a Swedish firm for bookkeeping, payroll and business advice.
Akhand Ekonomi sells very different things: bookkeeping, tax returns, payroll, HR and business advice. Its clients range from new limited companies to Americans filing US tax in Sweden, and not all of them read Swedish.
Bookkeeping, payroll and advice are different conversations. One general contact form makes the visitor explain everything from scratch.
Some clients, like Americans with US tax duties, read English better than Swedish. A Swedish-only site would lose them.
If an enquiry only exists as an email, one mail error is enough to lose a client who wanted to book.
The site had to move to a new server while the firm's email kept working on the same domain.
We built the site in Next.js with one page per service area and every page in both languages. The booking form takes its questions from the service the visitor came from, and a small Laravel API stores each enquiry and emails the firm.
Each service page passes its choice on. The form then shows that service's own boxes, from monthly bookkeeping to K10.
Every page exists in both languages. Swedish is the default, and the language switch keeps you on the same page.
Bookings, messages and newsletter sign-ups go into the database before any email is sent. A mail error no longer costs the enquiry.
Every page is exported as static HTML and served by nginx, so there is no app server to wait for.
The site was built in six days in the summer of 2025: the languages first, then the service pages and the booking flow, then the API. In October 2026 it moved to our server and went live on its own domain.
Next.js with Swedish and English from the start, the home page sections, header, footer and the blog.
Three service pages, About and Contact, and a booking page that remembers which service you came from.
A Laravel API for bookings, messages and the newsletter, emails to the firm and the visitor, and a sitemap.
HTTPS on Tizfai's server, a DNS switch without lost email, and enquiries that are kept even when mail fails.
Akhand Ekonomi runs at akhandekonomi.se in Swedish and English. Each booking arrives with the service and its parts already ticked, and the visitor gets a confirmation. An enquiry is kept even on a day when the mail server fails.
