ScanFai is a free QR patient lookup app for clinics that use DocFai. Staff scan a patient or prescription QR to open the record on the desktop, and photograph lab reports and X-ray reports straight into DocFai.
DocFai runs on the clinic's desktop, but paper still arrives in the room: lab reports, X-ray reports and old prescriptions. Many clinic desks have no scanner, so that paper was typed in by hand or not recorded at all.
Many clinic desks have no scanner or webcam, so paper reports stayed on paper.
Finding a patient or an old prescription meant typing names and numbers while the patient waited.
A quick phone photo comes out skewed, dark or full of desk and fingers.
Staff work in English and Bangla, often both in the same day.
We built ScanFai as a companion app in React Native and Expo. Staff sign in with their DocFai account, scan a QR code or photograph a document, and DocFai picks it up on the desktop within seconds.
A patient or prescription QR goes straight to DocFai, which fills in the search on the desktop.
Drag the corners, rotate, choose colour or black and white, and upload. Each document type keeps up to five images.
Staff use their existing DocFai account. The login token stays in the phone's secure storage.
One tap switches the language, and the app follows the phone's dark mode.
The app and the DocFai side were started on the same day. QR scanning worked on day two, document upload with cropping came next, and on day seven the app was ready for App Store and Google Play review.

Patient and prescription QR codes with the phone's built-in scanner, then appointment links.
Profile photos, a crop tool you drag with a finger, rotation, filters and contrast before upload.
Icons, store texts, privacy pages and builds for the App Store and Google Play.
ScanFai is free on the App Store and Google Play. The QR on a printed prescription now opens the patient and the last prescription on the desktop. Reports photographed in the room reach DocFai without a scanner.
